Wedge - AI for Smart Requirements Engineering in ERP Systems (Project in Progress)

Project Wedge leverages state-of-the-art natural language models and semantic search to automate requirements elicitation and documentation within complex ERP landscapes like SAP ECC and S/4HANA. By combining domain-specific embeddings, multilingual transformers, and vector-based retrieval, the platform intelligently maps stakeholder inputs, blueprint documents, and Jira data into structured, actionable knowledge.

Our goal is to make ERP implementations smarter — where AI doesn’t just record requirements, but truly understands them. This project bridges our deep functional SAP expertise with cutting-edge machine learning research, developed in collaboration with leading academic partners from Ghent, Utrecht, and Hacettepe University.
